Which is the counterfeit coin?

It is time to pick on your thinking cap and figure out how to find out which is the counterfeit coin.

You are supposed to find the counterfeit(fake) coin in the given number of weighings. The fake coin can be lighter or heavier.

Programming The "Turtle"

Hi, pupils.

You can program ("ask") this special turtle to draw the shape you want. The turtle will only understand the following commands:

(1) FD 100 (Forward 100 steps)

(2) RT 90 (Right Turn so that you can form a square or triangle)

Have fun programming the turtle to form the shape you want.

A picture tells a thousand stories. Hence, a picture graph do tells us a lot of "stories" too by helping us to count and organise the information.

This is an example of a picture graph. This graph tells us about 1/4 pupils' favourite animals.

From the picture graph, we know

(1) 2 pupils like orang utan.

(2) 7 pupils like penguin.

(3) Most pupils like Komodo Dragon.

(4) Least pupils like orang utan.

(5) 3 more pupils like giraffe than orang utan.
